Fell but

The dancer not only fell but tripped over Fishinghat. He was just besides that pole, I saw him!

Awww, thanks....I am good at the moment. I spent today talking about Jung's Shadow Self. Interesting concept!

must sleep

I've been awake too long, and now I must sleep.

Yes, the concept of the human shadow-- Jung's Shadow Self (and other similar theories) make for lively and fun conversation. While I enjoy the conversation, I await the proof.

I think all events-- physical, mental, and cosmological-- occur as a result of prior causes. All events-- from super novae, to falling stock prices, to an anxiety attack, to a suicide bombing, to your choice of broccoli instead of carrots. We can imagine that it was fate, randomness, some hidden and undiscovered part of the brain, or something supernatural like poltergheist, free will, or the gods-- but those are as difficult to prove as the 'shadow'. All prior causes are not readily identifiable, but the fact that the universe functions solely by the laws of cause-and-effect is pretty clear.

No hocuspocus, no magic, no supernatural shenanigans. The universe is far more wondrous than we can imagine!

Sometimes I find that sleep eludes me, too.  Did you ever get to sleep TM?

I was up at midnite eating crackers and peanut butter - the peanut butter does the trick every time!

Can't stop

Laughing, that is! Trollops! Haven't heard that word in a long time

I had originally thought of "pole cat". But since I grew up in Missouri, I figured Fishinghat would be the only one to understand that one.

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

stop smelling

Actually CSE, the term polecat is misapplied to skunks. The true polecat is the name to a family which is often referred to as ferrets. There is only one species in the US. The American Polecat is  better known as the Black-foot Ferret. Most people are not aware that the skunk is the only member of that genera that can spray its smell into the air. The Weasels, Mink and Ferrets all contain strong scent glands which are also used as defense. when grabbed by a hawk, cat or other predator it just allow the smell to drain into the mouth of the beast. A most unpleasant situation I am sure.

That word diminutive! Can't find anything to go with that.

Trollop, had to look that up. Never heard that, and it is not a complement either! Funny FH as usual, we so love you♄

plagiarize checker

I need to use a plagiarize checker to confirm I'm not unwittingly borrowing direct quotes.

Well I'm finally up. Looked at the news and saw that Muslims had murdered some 147 Christians in Kenya. Pathetic.

I'm heading out to buy chocolate bunnies and eggs today to celebrate easter.
