works hard

I day plan as well. I think it gives me a feeling of some control but on the other hand it usually doesn't work out the way I plan anyway!!  lol

Tomorrow, lift weights, jog, cut grass and trim. Good weather for it.

hard question

I just asked a rather hard question here regarding my fibromyalgia.  I have one of those painful massages tomorrow, but I feel that I must do more to alleviate the pain which is really getting worse.

Good plan for tomorrow, FH!  Wish I could do some of those things - I love to plant flowers, but find myself in too much pain to do much of anything physical!  :(

question everything

I encouraged my child to question everything-- to be a critical thinker.

"Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action. In its exemplary form, it is based on universal intellectual values that transcend subject matter divisions: clarity, accuracy, precision, consistency, relevance, sound evidence, good reasons, depth, breadth, and fairness."

She had to be free; she drove through the New England night with a hurting heart.

Liz, what hurts?

heart broken

The end of the relationship left her heart broken...

TM, my upper arms, neck, shoulders, back, lower back and right hip...  I feel as if I am falling apart!  The arthritis in my hands and left foot is another animal altogether. :(

broken arrow

To lose or miss an object of great importance. She couldn't find her diamond engagement ring and declared a broken arrow.

Also (perhaps fictional) a term used to declare a lost or missing nuclear weapon!

Liz-- some withdrawal-related? Arthritis is nasty; I'm so sorry.

Afraid I have body parts aging - sigh...  Wish I knew if this was withdrawal-related - never this bad before and 14 months off??

Thanks for your kindness, everyone!

aging cream

I tried some expensive aging cream, and it really works-- I look older!

Liz, see if the aches and pains go away in a few days. Get a good sleep-- take something to make you sleep if you have to. You might find a good long night's sleep followed by a luxurious warm bubble bath with a glass of sherry will limber you up. The sherry at 0700? Hell, (as Jimmy Buffett said, "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere"!)

And forget about the timeline (14 months) and just see what hand you are dealt each morning.

Good night.

cream them!

Cubs home opener is Sun. nite against the Cardinals - Hope we cream them! (Of all the teams to play...)

Thanks for the advice, TM - Sounds like a plan!  Will do on a day when I can stay home all day and have more than one glass! ;)

Of course I'll be rooting for the Cubbies - win, please~!  This is their first game of the season and if, as usual, it will be cold!  Funny, the opener is a nite game!  (I knew you would be routing for the Cardinals, FH! :P)

After the massage this afternoon, I just wanted to hurry home!  More Ibuprofen and my heating pad.

Think this is just a fibro flare...  Hope to see you Sunday night! :)

Home now

I misread the date, took my private jet, and flew to Florida for nothing! Had left before FH posted.

No need to tell you that the pilot was a bit angry, he had plans for the afternoon. Just got back, I am home now!

Fibro flare, means that it will pass, right? Hasta domingo!

Sunday game

Just an FYI for all...  The game is in Chicago! (My Chicago Cubbies!)

Now Gail, don't get your pilot all upset again by having him fly to the wrong place! :o

Yep, fibro flare should ease - just don't know when

Game for

Well well, now the pilot will have a fit and so will I!

Chicago you say, oh my, he does not want to fly there, because of bad souvenirs! I will have to postpone this game for another time.

Good night to all!

for Chicago

Guess the game is more for Chicago - don't want your pilot mad at me!

Feeling much better - like a miracle, almost... :D  This massage must have done the trick!

Night, Gail!

He's the doctor who gave me the pills.

I'm up late too flipping "news" channels: CNN from the left, Fox from the right, i24 for the Israeli perspective, and Al Jazeera for the Muslim perspective (Al Jazeera is owned by the ruling family of Qatar, the House of Thani). Going to bed soon though.

Who knows

Who knows what tomorrow may bring?

I've been watching The Dovekeepers. Had the potential to be such a good movie but they took too many liberties with the customs. Like the couple in the mikvah, really?
