One vacation dream I've been having is a 2-week trip on horseback in the Canadian Rockies.

When I lived on Maui, we rode through the crater of Haleakala - it was beautiful! 

(For those who don't know, the crater is where the Astronauts trained for their moon walk!)

Vacation destination

Since we have chosen our vacation destination, now we have to set a date. I would opt for Dec,Jan, Feb. We are leaving for three months.

Yep, poor Max would roast in Missouri. If not, someone I know would roast him himself!

Got confused here, reality is that I was not fast enough.

 I find the destination is wonderful and 3 months sounds just about right!   Max said he would love that too!

 

TM, that year in the space station sounds just too much - I would hate that!  Think he is already there, but his identical twin has stayed down here - the lucky one!

I would go nuts if I was to spend one year at the space station. The wonderful news is that they did not find me fit enough to go!

You are right about the weather here in the summer. It is humid.

 

The chatter amount me and dinner, ahhh, I mean Max....

 

Got me thinking of an old joke.

 

A newspaper writer in NY heard about a pig that saved a family's life during a fire in Arkansas.. He thought it would make a great human interest story so he flew down to interview the family. when he got there they filled him in on the details. The fire started in the middle of the night whiule everyone was asleep. The pig ran througfh the house squeeling real load and woke everyone up. About that time a 3 legged pig came walking in and the family stated that that was their 'hero' pig. The writer asked how he lost the one leg and the father said, "Son, you can't eat a pig like that all at once!!!.'.

A trip to space is on my wish list. In a year Scott Kelly will come back younger than if he'd stayed on earth. Time passes more slowly at higher speeds, but moves faster in areas of less gravity. The speed of the space station slows the passage of time, but the distance from earth's gravity will speed it up. In the final analysis, Scott will be 1/100th of a second younger after 1 year at that speed and in that gravitational force.

A personal chef! That seems so fancy, in a way I am, but not in fancy way. Nothing fancy about me, simplicity is my middle name.

As time passes, I can see that who we are deeply, never changes.

To my great surprise, there were...can't say, it's undescribable.

Then you are what we call down here a "personal chef"!  You have clients that you cook for - your own business, right?  Sounds fun!
