Hey threre, FH! Today, it's my turn - having electrical problems and can't use A/C 
Waiting for electrician now..

dead compressor
Unfortunately the electrician could only fix the switch - A/C needs new compressor and called the guy who has serviced it in the past and he has no Sat. hours. It will be a hot weekend! Thankfully, he has replaced the compressor within the past 4 or 5 years, so should be under warrantee. Sheesh! 
Please send that snow!

Sorry Liz, I just know what it feels when hot temperatures set in. On the last floor here with no (top), I go nuts in summer! Fans all around. Forget about the wool socks any go nude!

Nonexistent winter
Snowing, four to five inches up to date. I don't like winter!

winter forever
Good grief - more snow! And I'm hoping the sun doesn't come out today so I won't roast in here with no A/C At least I have been able to sleep the past 2 nites, even though the temp was 81 in the house! I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom which helps
