I have always worked like a bull. Building stone walls, gardening and construction work for personal purposes. With the MCTD my tendons are constantly inflamed. Plus I smoke which just makes everything worse

anyway possible
i have had a stomach thing going on the past 2 days. Nausea and acid reflux. It has finally let up tonight. 
I have several mouth sores that are bothering me. This is also common with MCTD. I didn't realize you have had problems with your gums too. Is this related to the Crap?

Possible answer
Don't think so. Aging and genetics. Bacteria infilters through the gum, and eat the bone. Early stage, treatments should slow the process!
I remember that the nausea came back at around month 5 or so.
