Essentially I am here for support and real information. On a journey away from this medication and towards a mindful, present state of being. My goal is to find courage, my hope to help someone along the way. Change.

This may not mean much, FriEED, but they COULD put the blood pressure cuff on your ankle or, using a pedi cuff, on your wrist. The reading will be +- 5. Having said that, it is hard to get healthcare ppl. to think out of the box when it comes to vital signs. But you have a REAL phobia and there IS a "work around"...

Took a couple of days, but I'm finally feeling OK...took about a month for my brain chemistry to pick up, good to go now.

Removing the irregular chunks (only a few per capsule) it is not recommended doing it the same way as the standard bead method. You should contact a compounding pharmacist who can make capsules on a taper schedule. Roy Katz at www.customrx.com can do this for anyone in the U.S. with a prescription from a doctor instructing a taper. I believe Roy uses a 2.5% drop down method. I have referred many people to him via my Cymbalta Hurts Worse Facebook group. Lot of successes.

Welcome to the site Glamrma. Very good info. May I ask is that 2.5% per month, week, etc?

Many of our local pharmacies where I live also compound but that can be very expensive in in the case of my current and past insurance companies it is not covered by insurance. My insurance companies always take the position that weaning is not necessary for ssri/snri as they have no withdrawal and therefore will not honor a weaning script.  (Jerks!!)

Have you ever used this facility and if so how are the prices?
