Carleeta,
Sorry about the kitty litter thing - could you stash it in your car trunk?
Agreed - I sure appreciate all of you guys!!
That's exactly what I do do. I buy about 4 at a time, but them in my trunk and carry one box in when I need it....lol lol lol.

Plus, all that extra weight makes for awesome traction in the NYS winters! When I lived in West Virginia that one winter, I bought 50 lb bags of sand and kept them in my trunk ... along with a shovel, an ice ax and, of course, the set of chains. Every time I'd get stuck (common out there) and had no one around, I'd use the sand to create traction under the tires .. dig myself out, and go on my merry way ... only had to be towed once ... got run off the mountain road by a truck coming around a curve too fast ... nice guy, he backed up, hooked up a chain to my bumper, and pulled me out. We met at the bottom of the mountain and had coffee and donuts ...

Wow what a way to meet a guy..lol lol...I know it's not funny! Yes the cat litter weighs the wait down. I do have a four wheel drive although I like the added weight in the back. I also carry the jug of (oh I don't remember the name because it's not salt) of this de icer used for driveways to melt ice up to 30 below zero, in my trunk. Personally I'll just stay home if there is too much snow and ice. I'll start stocking up on plenty of soups and canned milks, and have my freezer stocked...and a nice trip to Florida for a few months.....

FN - sounds like a great gig! as for the litter, thank god my cats go outside! but then, i live in the country. we do have one box on the screen porch that is used ocassionally, the older one doesn't like to wander outside in the dark (and the dew gets her belly wet - horrors!)
Clara - your philosphy is grand!
Carleeta - too many legs: ya gotta put the bodies somewhere!
TFL - harris teeter: you talkin' 'bout hairy?

TryinginFl, I don't blame you. We need our days of rest. I just needed to do this by myself on such a gloomy day and not feeling my best either...lol lol lolCarleeta,
Good for you!! You seem to accomplish things no matter how you feel - I envy you! Don't think I will be going to church today as I don't even have the energy to get dressed let alone drive there.

Dishes are washed in the dishwasher. But OMG it takes forever to wash with these new dish washers which are supposed to be energy saving...lol lol lol. I cant believe it takes about 2 hours just on a regular wash. What in the world would it be like if I had a whole dishwasher full. Well they are positively clean. My little feline is fed; she eats twice a day. I sort of dusted off my living room..lol lol lol. It needs some serious serious damp dusting....lol lol lol. I think I'm getting to old to damp dust, taking everything off and damp dusting everything, including the furniture itself...lol lol lol. It's positively been a productive and positive day around the house. yipeeeeee

lol lol lol. If this isn't a positive to top off the day. My great niece in Florida who is only 9 just called me and reminded me to make sure I don't miss Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin tonight... lol lol lol. When we lived closer she used to spend the night with me just because we would watch this together and I made fresh stove stop popcorn with butter....lol lol lol. she asked me if I was making the popcorn, and I told her of course, although what she doesn't know is I will be using the microwave popcorn tonight because I'm to tired to wash anything out.....lol lol lol

and, my positive for the day ... for the very first time since last December when I started cold turkey withdrawal, I woke up bright and early this morning at 7 am (not really that early I know, but for me it is), with zero anxiety, zero body aches and pains, zero "brain fog" and lots of energy ... I actually "popped out of bed" .... something I'd forgotten I'd ever done.... got busy making tea, feeding cats ... the "morning stuff" I used to do ... before I went on crapalta ...
If today was Thursday, I'd post this on Carleeta's "throw-back Thursday" thread ... because it really does hark back almost a decade ago ...
And, having said all this, I'm fully prepared for this to be a "one of" ... and have tomorrow be back to what mornings have been for months ... but I'll have had this morning to hang on to during the bad/hard ones that come after it

FiveNotions, this is wonderful news. Very happy and excited for you. Make this day as productive as possible, even if it consists of taking a long overdue nap...lol lol. Happy for you FN. Waking up feeling normal, that is great!
And to say that people wake up that way every day, of course, it is taken without a thought. And for us, it is a blessing when that comes.
Little things bring out gratefulness. That is what we have in commun, cymbalta survivors! Gratefulness, for what seems ordinary to others

You are so right, Gail!
It is unfortunate that we can't seem to get back into the mainstream of life as others live it. I would be so grateful if I could just go to sleep and stay asleep all night, waking up feeling great!
I don't count on it to ever be.. if it is, I will be thankful.

Even though anxiety has cooled down, I feel normal for a while during the day, here and there. Still nowhere near the carefree days.
Always a little shit hanging over or is it in my mind.
It is getting better though.
I don't think that I will ever be completely free, this is a traumatizing experience added to the bitter experiences we have been through.
No, it is not an easy path.
And as FN once said, gaining points so we can get straight to heaven, something like that. Hope you sleep well tonite my dear friend, love xx
