Now Carleeta, remember what the British NHS says about drinking .... rather than drinking that dangerous stuff, wine ... take those pills ... so be sure to turn up with a nice big bottle of the pills, instead of the wine ... saves on the corkscrew, too ... now you all can sit around that beautiful crackling fire and instead of sipping a good red cabernet or some such, just pass around the pill bottle, with a chaser of filtered/purified water ....

Carleeta, you do know, don't you, that one of the rather common side effects of Cymbalta (while on it) is teeth grinding and TMJ ... also, I think way back when I first joined, I read a post someone made to the effect that even once we're off the poison, we may continue to grind teeth and have TMJ ... because it's now become a habit ... automatically occurs while we're asleep ...
Also, remember, if you'd just take those alcohol replacement pills like a good girl, you'd avoid those pesky red wine stains on your pearly whiles ...

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
Here's a link to the live performance at Woodstock on Youtube (ah, good memories ... positive ones ...I was 16 at the time ... tried to sneak off and go to it with a couple of friends, cuz my hometown was relatively close ... no go ... my mom busted me as I was putting things into my little backpack ...

my positive is getting to go on a short camping trip with my husband. it was only one night based on time constraints. it is a very special campsite - its all evergreen - spruce and fir trees - looks and feels like canada. there are only nine sites and you must walk up a very steep incline to reach them. all cars are parked at the bottom. once you get all your gear up you must keep all food related items in the designated metal "bear box" at your site. yes, there are bears. i thought about how much carleeta would have loved this place (yuck yuck!) we really enjoyed ourselves even though the weather was pretty rough. we had winds of about 25 mph with much higher gusts. our tent stayed up but it sure blew around! it rained off and on. at bedtime the bottom dropped out and it rained and rained and the wind howled but we stayed warm and dry. my anxiety level was pretty normal through it all! it pays to have the right equipment. the view from our site was incredible, if i figure out how to attach an image i'll do it. it was awesome seeing the clouds moving in through the valleys below - we were above it all.

I remembered a good 70% of them and guessed on the other 30%...lol lol l l l....I passed with 3 wrong.....yipeeeeee. ...still positively scored in the low 90's....I'll take it...lol lol
Have a wonderful evening to all my forum friends....

I did see the blood red moon at 3:25am this morning, trouble sleeping! It was spectacular...starting to feel some life after reinstating to Prozac last Tuesday. Whew...today, life is good;) i am blessed in so many ways and working on keeping my focus 'in the moment,' and not looking back in the past with regret and worrying about the tomorrows that never come...for me, that's big progress, Baby!!

Brzghoff, here we go, its a jpeg file....lol lol lol. and all this time you thought I was smart. Certainly not when it comes to these things.......lol lol lol
actually i was trying to post a .jpg didn't work the way it does on any other forum or email or web site or anything else i post to. i then found TM's old post about how to do it and followed his instructions to a "T", still did not work. maybe the feature has been disabled out of fear of malware. i notice that in the editor for posting here there is a feature called "my media" but no explanation anywhere how to get media into "my media" so you can share it.

Hey, Brz Would love to see the pics! I went to Mt. Mitchell when I lived for a short time in Cullowhee in 2000...think I mentioned that to you and you told me you were close to Asheville. Beautiful area and the Blue Ridge mountain range took my breath away! I'm sitting outside and it is 94 degrees here!! Would love to see the colors of fall and for the days to start cooling off!!

...Oh my goodness Brzghoff, you are amazingly brave...No No No, me...lol lol....Tent? Me? Bears? Me? No restroom? Me? No bed? Me?....all a 'no' for me...the squirrels rustling in the fallen leafs scare me in the fall...lol lol lol.....Oh how I admire anyone who could go camping on flat ground, let alone on a mountain...I'm fascinated in the way you are so brave and made this camping trip with keeping your Anxiety level at a good pace. I stopped at the point where you stated you had to leave your car at the bottom...Right there I knew my car was my escape. .lol lol lol..To top this off my nephews wedding was two weekends ago and they exchanged their vows on top of a mountain where family and guests used a ski lift to get up there. Although, I could not attend this beautiful event do to another family event I was committed to, I assured them there was no way I would take a ski lift, fully dressed with dress shoes because I know one of my shoes, if not both, would have definitely fallen off...lol lol lol...and to boot they were all sleeping in tents that night for another party on the mountain the next day. ...If I did attend this beautiful event, I surely would have stayed at the bottom, brought my binoculars, viewed the wedding, went to the reception that evening, found a hotel (even if it was 50 miles away) with as many luxuries as I could find....lol lol lol....I'm an outdoors kinda person with indoor facilities. ..lol lol lol....my type of relaxing get a way is making sure I don't cook, clean, or make a bed....lol lol lol.....Too funny about me and the bears...lol lol....it's true though...lol lolmy positive is getting to go on a short camping trip with my husband. it was only one night based on time constraints. fortunately its only about 45 minutes down the blue ridge parkway from our house here in NC. it is a very special campsite on top of Mt Mitchell, the tallest mountain east of the mississippi. its all evergreen - spruce and fir trees - looks and feels like canada. there are only nine sites and you must walk up a very steep incline to reach them. all cars are parked at the bottom. once you get all your gear up you must keep all food related items in the designated metal "bear box" at your site. yes, there are bears. i thought about how much carleeta would have loved this place (yuck yuck!) we really enjoyed ourselves even though the weather was pretty rough. you have to expect that on a mountain that is 6683 ft tall. its a totally different weather system up there. we had winds of about 25 mph with much higher gusts. our tent stayed up but it sure blew around! it rained off and on, but we still managed to have a nice fire and fix a nice dinner. at bedtime the bottom dropped out and it rained and rained and the wind howled but we stayed warm and dry. my anxiety level was pretty normal through it all! it pays to have the right equipment. the view from our site was incredible, if i figure out how to attach an image i'll do it. it was awesome seeing the clouds moving in through the valleys below - we were above it all.

TFL is right carleeta, you ARE a hoot! i would have absolutely loved going to that wedding!
as for the cars being at "the bottom" depending on which site you are using, (they are one after/above the other) you can be anywhere from 20 feet up to about 500 ft away from your car. so its not very far, but... you walk up steps that are wide, but very steep. we were about half way up. we have gone to this campground area for over 20 years. our fave site is at the very top - yes its a haul, but one up there, the site is very private. as for bathrooms. yes, they have an incredible structure - a giant log cabin - made to withstand 100+ mph winds. not that anyone would camp up there under those circumstances, but it has to be able to put up with all kinds of weather no matter what. the restrooms have two toilets and two sinks each. nice and very clean. feels very cozy actually. it is heated and everything. but no showers.
i feel more safe and secure out in the woods and in natire than i do in an urban settingl i am way more fearful of people than wild animals. not that i am scared of people, but if i am walking in the dark alone in the woods, i am not worrying about bears.
