Carleeta,
I'm not familiar enough with everyone on the board to know what is causing you so much pain. Do topicals at all? Hugs! I hope you feel better soon!
Amy, thank you. I do use a topical although it doesn't take away some pain in some areas. Thank you for your concern...

Haven't posted a positive in a while, due to this very uncomfortable pain. Oh well that was a negative...lol lol lol. My positive today is the management of where I have my house and they are building new ones in this area have called me today to ask me if I was willing to have some of my rooms photographs for their portfolio. Oh goodness I was totally flattered, although I told them they could photograph everyroom with the exception of my bedroom because to me it's a disaster due to the bit of mess I have in here. I had to explain the pain I've been in and my room is my safe place (although I have the pain in there too...lol lol lol) and right now it just not is up to par for photos...lol lol lol. They agreed and will be here at 11am tomorrow morning. OMG thank God I had the other rooms up to par...lol lol lol. I am positively flattered and it gave me a little boost today in my mood.....

Carleeta...
How wonderful! What a flattering and "positive" request for you!! Knowing what a perfectionist you are and hearing all about your move and what you have done with your new home, I wish I could see the pics too!!
Even with your pain, I know what a good feeling this gave you - congratulations!
I am still praying for your pain to lessen so that you can get back to doing the things you love

Carleeta that is amazing ... such a perfectly furnished / decorated / kept home that you're going to be the "poster home" !
I bet your "messy" bedroom is 100 x neater and cleaner than mine!
I'm praying for the pain to subside so you can get back into action ... please just don't push yourself and rest as much as you can / need to!

:PAw, Carleeta ... you just don't know how to slow down, do you?
A friend of mine years ago, who had five siblings, used to describe her mother as constantly busy, doing things, helping people, etc.... one day she said to me "I don't know how my dad managed to ever get her pregnant, she doesn't stay still long enuf for the sperm to even get in the door, much less hit the target!"

I positively made it to the hairdresser today. Honeslty, I don't know how I did it, with all this pain and added anxiety on top of the anxiety I already have. I just couldn't wait to get home to my safe place.
Another positive was they came to get photos of my home, and then I realized it was going to be aired on our local TV stations as an add for our community.. OMG, I really didn't know what to say...lol lol lol. Actually

ha ha ha ha ha, well I guess I did manage to slow down at that time...lol lol lol. It wasn't until I got a bit older, that I really couldn't sit still. I think once I retired my mind was still going, therefore I had my body move along with it...lol lol lol. Love this little story....

Positively made it to the hairdresser today. Do not know how I did it with all this pain and more anxiety than I already have. All I know is I just could not wait to get home, and still at home I cannot find a place to get comfortable. Well, I won't give up....I'm positively going forward.. yipeeeeee

Well certainly arthritis can cause the pain problems. My wife has a lot of muscle pain because of her multiple back surgeries and arthritis. She uses Lidoderm patches and the ACV. She can use three pain patches a day. She cuts them in half and applies them to where ever it hurts the worse. They can only be used for 12 hours. Helps a lot.

Well I don't know if this is a positive or not but.....I am getting another new psychiatrist. Yup number 6. Number 4 went to a new position about 2 months ago. I was transferred to number 5 and before I even got to see him I was changed to number 6. My reputation proceeds me!!! lol The good thing is I know this one and he seems pretty good.

FiveNotions, no I haven't looked into sports medicine...just working with a pain specialist. He is going to do another shot in a different place. As he stated to me previously, they are looking for the spot where the pain is originating and if this area didn't work well, he's going up a few more inches into a different area. I'm positively going for this shot again this coming Tuesday and I'm once again very anxious about this...
Fishinghat, oh my... You will be on your sixth psychiatrist....I think this just may be a positive.... It seems like you already know what to expect from this one since you know him. Please keep us posted on this.....

I'm positively out the door today with my niece. She will be taking me out to run some errands and look for a new mattress. I do believe the one I have is just a bit too hard. It was new when I moved and it wasn't like my pillow top I have for years. This was a plush and I think it was a firm plush. Hopefully, if I find the right softness in a pillowtop it might help the pressure point areas. All I know is I am positively getting out of the house today, pain and all.....yipeeeeeee

Hi TFL, Ken/Admin sent me a PM ... he said he'd been "in the system" making some changes early in the morning (around 4:30 a.m.) the day we first noticed the ads... he apologized, he overlooked one of the system settings ... and they snuck in ... he fixed it this a.m. I think ...
I went to post this info on the threads that TM and I had started, but Ken must've removed those threads after he got rid of the ads ...
He also thanked us for all of our "kind words" about him ....
