TryinginFl. He's going to wait on the therapeutic message because I have to do physical therapy, then a shot in my hip joint, which I will still be doing PT for 4 to six weeks. From that point on we will see if I need anything else. He's all for whatever works for me. He is so darn cute too. OMG. He's so young and I had him 7 years ago after my car accident. He's so gentle, funny, soft spoken and etc. Every time I go to see him, and remind him of my agoraphobia he tell me the same thing. "you don't look it, you don't act it". lol lol. My niece assured him I definitely have it....lol lol lol. He's the only doctor I will let give me 10 to 20 trigger points at once.. lol lol He's that gentle. Speaking of shots, I need another one. I positively need to get a TDAP (whopping cough) shot as the pediatricians are requesting family members of newborns should get them. I'm positively going to be all 'shot up". Thank God I'm not afraid of shots...maybe the hip joint one, although other than that I can handle them.. So off tomorrow for the TDAP shot. I laugh because it's going to be like a family reunion there when we all go for the shot at once. One of my female cousins will be working there and already waiting....lol lol lol. As she will be giving them to us...lol lol. I just made eggplant parm to bring there to her...lol lol lol. It's positively a "family affair". lol lol

Oppps. I positively forgot to let out my most positive. I'm going to see my grandson today...yipeeeee and double yipeeee. Hadn't seen him in a while due to be being hospitalized for a bit of jaundice which is very common today with breastfeeding mothers. I positively can not wait to hold this bundle of joy in my arms. What positively comes with this visit is the new parents requests for homemade Italian food..lol lol. What a case they got...lol lol. Im ordering their requests and just bring it up....lol lol lol. I already cooked today and this item was not on their request list...lol lol lol

9:41 pm....just arrived home from my son and daughter in laws home to see my bundle of joy...He's so tiny..lol lol. His diapers are so tiny, everything he has is so tiny...lol lol. I just held him, fed him, changed him and forgot every pain I had in my body. What I found positively amazing was when I went to change his diaper, there was my son hovering over me...lol lol lol. Telling me the diaper had to be tighter...lol lol lol. Well of course I knew this, although I was being so gentle I could not bring myself to make it tighter..lol lol. Finally, when I changed him for the second time, I looked at my son and said, I need to do this my way...lol lol lol. It worked better my way...lol lol. The positive of this whole night was my son and daughter in law are going to be wonderful parents and they are both hands on with my grandson. My son had a wonderful time showing me how to change a diaper...lol lol lol. It's amazing how things come back to you when you haven't done them for years....My bundle of joy has lightened my anxiety because he puts me in drive motion and makes me focus on him and not me. It's been a beautiful and positively positive day......

You've been in this movie before-- make some popcorn, sit back and watch the show. And hair is overrated.

Thank you TryinginFl and Thismoment. I'm trying to visualize his facc, hands, feet, and etc. to help relax my body during the day. Then I find myself just smiling and smiling..lol lol.

Today I'm off for another shot for protection for my new grandson and bringing food for the family members giving the shot and receiving it....lol lol lol. Sometimes we family members tell each others how 'coo coo' we must appear to others..lol lol lol. Although we are going into the conference room to enjoy this food.lol lol lol.....No one will really know we are having a family gathering...lol lol lol. It just sounds 'coo coo'....lol lol lol. We have to wait till around 3pm for get this shot as this particular shot is given only twice a week and between certain times of the day.

I positively just saw the pharmacies already posting the "flu" shot is available now. Uhrrr, this upsets me because it's august and our flu season doesn't start till February. Positively won't be getting mine till the end of October or beginning of November..

A word to the wise if anyone is getting the flu shot for the flu season.....Please check your area of the US and see when the area will be called "Flu Season". This way you can get the shot approximately one to three months before it hits. The flu shot is only good for 3 to 6 months (not even sure on that because they use the strains from last years flu and there is no telling what strains will come up for the new season). There are cases where the flu is still going around and hasn't ended, and in those instances if you are in contact with individuals who currently have the flu, it's ok to get it now if offered in your area.
Just thought I'd put it out there for all you forum members and guests.....

Haha! That's funny!

I've heard that compliments work, and roses perhaps. . . but the only sure-fire strategy for getting laid within the connubial context is via the vacuum cleaner, the feather duster, the washing machine, and the ironing board! Clean the joint up and she will melt in your arms!

yup...was positively board then realized it was separation anxiety from my bundle of joy. Couldn't take the boredom so I got the camera and ventured out on foot (it stopped raining) and started shooting some photos..lol lol lol...played with different apertures, and shutter speed and caught some gorgeous photos of the last of the blooming flower (close up) and distance photos of the trees which are starting to change colors.. It's really a beautiful time up here in NYS with fall coming upon us...I'm great with the camera and horrible at getting photos to fit for computer sharing..lol lol lol.. Needed to do something worthwhile today before I started to positively feel my age.lol lol lol

i love NYS in the fall. my kids/grandkids live in the hudson valley. from what i've been able to tell its been a nice summer up there. even though i live in hot humid florida (and boy this summer has been miserable!) the absolute hottest weather i've ever experienced was during several summers in NYC and upstate (over 100 for several days in a row!), but it doesn't sound like its even gotten into the 90's for you all this year.

Absolutely true. I think we did have one day it reached 90 degrees...The coolest summer I remember in a long time...lol lol lol Last year was so hot, humid, and rainy for the first part of the summer....

Without a doubt my therapeutic photography, lol lol.. My grandson is definitely going to be the subject with my photos..lol lol lol. Just purchased a canon digital SLR for my son so he could capture those precious moments. I still prefer my Nikon and had to finally let the old SLR get replaced with the new digital SLR.(Nikon) infact, my daughter in law was looking a photos I took with my cell phone of my son's baby pictures at the same age as their son, and she thought they were photo shots I had taken at the photographers...lol lol lol. Needless to say they were thrilled last night when I walked in with the new camera for them....
I was so into photography my entire adult life, and then stopped because of the cameras on the cell phones...Now I'm back with photos I can be challenged with. Digital yes, although I love my manual function on the Nikon and Canon.. My next challenge is getting these photos to fit for computer transfer..lol lol lol. I'll figure it out...lol lol lol. In the meantime the photos are just on my memory card and transferred to my computer....This will take a year to figure out....lol lol lol

You should be proud - that's a beautiful picture!  I am so technically-challenged it's pathetic!  Did you know the Hibiscus is the state flower of Hawaii? :)

No, I didn't know it was Hawaii's state flower.  I'm sorry... didn't want you to think of Hawaii.  If is any consolation, mine came from the Philippines lol lol..  I'm technically challenged also, although I just had to figure out how to do it....lol lol lol lol .  It's the challenge, I guess..lol lol lol

That's our Carleeta!! :D Always ready to go and to help, regardless of how you feel - you are a marvel, my friend!

My positive already today is that the first thing I saw when I looked out my kitchen window this morning was my pair of Cardinals!  Not much later,  saw Mr. Cardinal again...  They were telling me things are looking up!

This is going to be a much better day - and I have been able to sleep the past 3 nites!!! :)
