There is a great video on YouTube by Sam Harris.

Search-   'Sam Harris- It Is Always Now'.

It is on death, and I know that sounds oddly juxtaposed to the season, but the video is tasteful, thoughtful, and profoundly true.

Having been a hospice nurse as well as a previous orthopedic nurse...I learned a lot about death & dying. One of the best books I've ever read is by Elizaabeth K. Ross....death completes the life cycle as I understand it...

Very interesting vid.

To regret what we cared about? A powerful concept. It seems logical that all we have is this moment but it is hard to visualize embracing it in this world of expectations. (both internal and external)

Without people seeking a specific future, would we have the lifestyle most of us have grown accustomed to? I guess the point is maybe not....... and perhaps that isn't a bad thing?

It makes you think. Thanks thismoment.
