Face And/or Mouth Numbness... Volts Running Through Your Body?

Today is my third day on 30 mg. and I'm beginning to experience mouth and face "numbness". The numbness seems to happen in little episodes (maybe for a minute or two) and then its gone. I've experienced the nausea, headaches, the shakes and brain zaps that people have talked about in other postings. I also started with a mild amount of vertigo (that was fun) I have not seen anything about facial numbness, though.
I also seem to have an unpleasant "voltage" running through my body.
Has anyone else experienced face numbness or "voltage" running through you?

I woke up today feeling rough. It seems to be a roller coaster of a detox. Everything seems to come and go. It does, however, seem that the episodes are shorter as time goes by. So, maybe that's some good news!!
I'm decreasing my dose from 60mg to 30mg, been down to 30 mg from Friday. Had the face numbness and tingling yesterday now lessened but numbness now all over body. Sleep fine as been prescribed mirtazipine but until I found this website thought was having allergic reaction to something. Is there anything I can take to lessen these feelings.

I'm told this will all go away in time... ugh!!! In time! However, I've read where the effects last for months.
Good luck... it sounds to me like you've definitely got some kind of nerve damage. ...Related to the Cymbalta? I would definitely look into it!

I am trying once again to withdraw from crapalta. I have been feeling numbness in my left cheek for days now. I have also developed what I now know as Tinnitus and this I am told, does not go away.
I am so angry at having been duped into thinking this medication was safe.
