My daughter has just started her withdrawing phase of cymbalta, her symptons are dizzieness, sleeplessness, pin and needles, headaches and what she calling brain zaps. All sounds very scary to me so l cannot imagine what she is feeling, she lives about 4hours away so l keep in touch by the phone,l am greatly worried by these horrible side effects she is experiencing, and what is the best way to help and support her through this awful time? Can anyone help me
Just my opinion, get professional help for you to understand her symptoms and what to do. The reason why I say this is one of the withdrawal symptoms is not wanting anyone around AT ALL!!! This with all the other symptoms she could get at the same time may make it dangerous for you to try and push yourself upon her to help her. I haven't been through the withdrawal symptoms because I am still on it and have been for 7 years. But from what I am reading, hearing and seeing, it can be pure hell!! She may end up not wanting to talk to you or anyone so all I am saying is get more educated yourself so you know the limitations of your help. But definitely be there for her and be patient with her. Maybe you should speak to your Doctor to find out how you can help her? This is all just my opinion and in no way am I a professional in this field. But I think you should talk to a professional and be there for her.
Good Luck,
John

I had to updose cymbalta. Since I increased dosage I started experiencing pin & needles all over my body, they are constant and they scare me. Whe does your daughter experience the pin & needles?
