i have been taking ON whey protein for muscles building with this i have stack ON casein protein...and it helped me a lot.

With the abundance of conflicting information available about dietary supplements, it is more important than ever to talk with your doctor and other health care providers (dietitian, nurse, pharmacist, etc.) to help you sort the reliable information from the questionable.

I have some Omega 3 capsules that I have had for awhile, also bought 5HTP and Melatonin. Taking Osteo BiFlex for joints, and a multi-vitamin. Drinking lots of water, sometimes with lemon in it. The worst feeling I am having right now is I feel like a fat pig. I know it is the Holiday season, and I have always been an over-eater, but in the last few days I feel so fat and awful, and like someone beat me up. My muscles are so sore! my whole family is sick right now with colds/sinus stuff. I am not sure if I am getting that, or if it's from the withdrawal. I'm betting it's the withdrawal. I hope this goes away soon, cause the longer I lay around, the lazier and fatter I will get.

Yes I just started taking MSM too & it DOES seem to help with pain. I'm hoping it continues to get better as it builds up in my system. My nutritionist said it would take about 10 days or so to build up. Another one to try is Corvaline-M powder. Good luck!Lori - to you get the MSM with glucosamine? That is pretty good for joint/muscle stuff. I shredded my knee a few years ago snowboarding and it helps tons. I know when it is time to stop taking it when I forget that I hurt.

I cut & pasted this that I had posted under another topic.
These are my current supplements/ diet & what they're for:
ADB-5 Plus for adrenal support- if you're adrenals are stressed you're going to get depleted of serotonin, this is stronger than 5-HTP
Thyrostim- for thyroid support- thyroid is involved in regulating LOTS of functions so it needs to work well
Idiozyme- for thyroid stimulation- check with a doc or nutritionist before taking this, good for a 'normal' but underfunctioning thyroid
MSM & Corvaline-M- for body aches & pain
Vitamin D- most of us are deficient
Vitamin B-6- for energy
Rhodiala- herb to help your body make serotonin
Betaine- digestive enzymes, digestion affects a number of things besides nutrition including pain
I'm also avoiding sugar, gluten & dairy
For some reason, my symptoms are worst in the morning & improve as the day goes on. When I do take the Cymbalta, I take it in the evening.

I forgot to mention a couple things:
Taurine- helps with dopamine (feel good) levels, I was taking because but not currently because my levels were high
Biofeedback- takes the guesswork out of what's going on in your body of you can afford it.
