Chill man... it is not always THAT long.

LV has got herself in a very upsetting position with her doctors and I really feel for her. There is never a way of knowing how long one's journey will take.

Life can be a bitch - I don't know your spiritual bent on things - and I am not asking for it. But I am a spiritualist and believe that we are here to cover aspects of our existence that cannot be covered on the Other Side. I have been tested so many ways. I have been faced with so many things in my time here. Almost taken my life twice - if you don't mind me saying. But it was the people that I met RIGHT HERE on the forum that kept me here. No joke. We have nothing to lose. We are just everyday guys like you who have been through all this manner of SHIT and lived to tell the tale.

I get the impression that you are Strong. You have the ability to get yourself through this, and I know that you WILL.

Just be here, be with us. You will come out the other side - trust me...

Take it easy, man

IUN

Hey LeVana...

I will be honest in saying that I have had a bad day, but you have to accept that these things happen. At worst, a survey shows that Americans have 3-4 days a month with serious issues (without meds). That i 1 day a week were Americans have a "really bad day".

How that translates to us Europeans, but I can;t see it is too much different.

I have to be honest in saying that I have had a really bad day today, and hope for something better better tomorrow. I just want to sleep. I have not had a good day, but I live for the better days which are always there if you give them time and a sufficient break...

Keep coming back here my dear. You are help me as much as I might be helping you...

Take care, IUN xxx

I am OK LV and had a bunch of good days but 6 days ago I dropped 50% 5mg to 2.5mg so I am waiting for that to kick in and cause the usual stress and shit

When I get the stress like this I tend to get health anxiety and worry over the top about all things health related

Only 8 more capsules to go and then I will have completed mission......give up Diazepam habit and Cymbalta/Duloxetine

Intermittent user of Diazepam for 18 months and 6 months on Duloxetine

Stay well and hopeful LV and throw in some FAITH

xx

LeVana

Many times after totally coming off the Cymbalta people have a brief period (4 or 5 days) of hypersexuality. So the increase in libido isn't surprising.

You all hang in there. You can beat this.

IUN....y'all keepin' OK man?

Hey man...

No.. if I am honest. The wife is stuck in the midst of mental illness which the health service are not concentrating on.

I am working to pay rent, food, bills etc whilst holding up for the wife at the same time. These are tough times.

But I will get there. I have been there myself and my life this time around has been served with helping other people. I just have to accept that,

Tough times brother... tough times...

C-o-u-n-t-d-o-w-n

6 capsules......

Felt like acid rain all over my body last night and dreams seemed  personally designed just to annoy and horrify me but after a heavy duty work out things look a lot better

I am really expecting the shit to hit the fan next week when I go from 2.5 to zero....we'll see

Dear reader

Don't be put off tapering or dealing with any kind of drug use. Very often the user is not to blame for the drug use and circumstances (or doctors)  somehow forced the meds upon them

Another thing is,don't let the online horror stories of other peoples experiences cloud your judgement. Your time coming off whatever ails you will most likely be less painful

Use the forum(s) as a guide and listen to your body for how to deal with your withdrawal and above all, be easy on/kind to yourself :)

xx

Much thanks and respect...Mr Hat/IUN and all the best LV

hi looney ;)

you quit dulox without any switch to another AD, right? it´s brave and i´ll follow your development. please give us an update furthermore.

i´m happy to get support here ´cause there aren´t many people who believe me - not even my parents / family. they trust the doc´s opinions.

my husband is the one and only who is convinced of dulox withdrawal. that´s why i´m searching for many stories about wd - to show them its real and this is not my imagination.

100% in agreement this end! Thank you for your wonderful words, my friend....

People such as Hat and myself have been through so much to want to prevent any other going through the same - regardless of who they are. If we can help prevent even the slightest ailment, I would consider it a success. Please just continue to post, rant, learn.

We have already decided that Hat will outlive me, so there will always be support here :)

Blimey.. it was my birthday yesterday!! I forgot!!

That can't be good.... LOL

IUN, you need to teach me how to 'forget' birthdays. At my age I think about it everyday.  lol

IUN, you need to teach me how to 'forget' birthdays. At my age I think about it everyday.  lol

All I can say is that time does not exist. Our trip here to this small rock is but a holiday from the Other Side.

It is very difficult for us to understand living without a concept of time living in the Western culture, but if you look East, you will find tribes, such as the Amondawa, who have no words for "yesterday" or "tomorrow". Living in the now makes a great difference, but is very difficult to interpret.

But just think that when we return to the Other Side in God's Grace that we have no idea of time. We are blessed with his continuous life giving energy. Time is a man-made phenomenon.

I often ponder on this, but maybe something we will only ever comprehend when we return to our spiritual selves...

But never worry about your age, dear Brother. It is something we only consider as a factor of being born into this world.

Time does not exist.

Your age does not exist.

never had this, looney.
but could be possible, 'cause dulox works also anticholinergic what leads to dry mouth, eyes and so on. so the reverse effect would be the opposite.

"Apparently GERD can be a symptom of DUL WD.."

Cymbalta regulates serotonin and serotonin the most common neurotransmitter in the digestive tract so you can imagine that almost any kind of digestive issue has been reposted as a side effect of Cymbalta withdrawal.

"what about sinus problems guys, ever had any reports of excess clear mucus in nose and throat?"

LeVana is correct with her answer and in addition to that Cymbalta affects sodium balance in the body which can lead to hyponatremia (low sodium levels in the blood).

Hyponatremia — Cases of hyponatremia (some with serum sodium lower than 110 mmol/L) have been reported and appeared to be reversible when Cymbalta was discontinued. Some cases were possibly due to the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).
