Why do all those involved like to keep things so quiet?! I can understand Lilly keeping quiet, but why are all those involved "refraining from comment" such as the FDA and FBI etc?

 

A article which uses hundreds of words to say very little about what they have apparently done, or not done. Either way, I am glad that they have cocked up again and the watchful eye on them remains very much alert.

The reason 'no comment' is that it is against their policies to comment on an ongoing investigation. If they were to comment now the courts would say that the comments 'tainted the jury pool' and any pending cases would be thrown out.
