I'm going to need some support. I'm on day 4 cold turkey off 60mg. My husband is leaving in the morning to fly out of state for a couple days. I'll be home alone with our 5 yr old sweet daughter.

Hello and welcome
If you have any questions, myself and all the rest here will be happy to help. There is so much information here that at first it is a bit overwhelming. We are all at various stages of getting off this drug so understand how it can feel.
Take care of you
Nancy

Thank you for responding. I'm not sure exactly HOW I feel at the moment. The brain zaps and full CNS zaps and body waves of electric jolts are running thru my nervous system. My hubby is leaving in the morning and ill be home with my little girl for a couple days. I'm going to need someone to talk me thru this in some capacity.

I was given this med for nerve pain from a neck injury. I've never suffered from any form of depression n my life. No w because of this med I have felt locked in my house for 2 years. And don't feel like the same person. The depth of emotion I used to feel about things and empathy has changed. Life like this is not me. And it's like some one else's numb soul is in my body.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents. I started quitting Cymbalta last October by removing two beads per day, from the 60 mg capsule. It took a few months to get off it but the brain zaps and other side effects were better than the cold turkey I tried first. Trust me and the others here, you don't want to do that.. It's now mid April and I have started to have the depression and suicidal thoughts. I have had depression before, but nothing even close to this depression. I am convinced...

I am on 90 mg of crapbalta I would like comments on how to wean down. Today I only took 60 and thought I should stay on this dose for 1 week. I have both 60 mg pills and 30 mg pills. Presently I take the pills at night but was thining perhaps I should take the 20 mg pills 1 in AM and 1 in PM. Then after a week just take 30 for 1 week and then do the bead method of the 30 mg pill until totally off of this crap. Your thougths woudl be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all. I just found this site. My abrieviated story is as follows.... I have taken Cymbalta for about a year for musculo-skeltal pain. It didn't really help so i decided to stop it. Very slowly weaned off

Of it 120 to 120/60 to 60 to 60/0 to 0 at 2-week intervals. After 0 for about a week had all the side affects and withdrawal symptoms on the site. It got worse and worse over the past week. I felt like my life was over. Then I remembered what happened when I forgot my cymbalta for 3 doses several months ago. So I took a 60 mg capsule last night and am almost good as new this morning. Searched the web, found this site, and am reeling from the info. I don't have much to add except:...
