1 of my side effects are the strange temperature feelings, body chills, many times gooseflesh despite the hot summer tempertures. Is there something you can do about this because these feelings are giving me anxiety sometimes.
Many thanks guys

HTSP
The histamine system is part of the stress response system. Most antihistamines have at least some anxiety fighting ability. The most affective is hydroxyzine. It is prescribed rather than benzos by many drs as it is not habit forming and no withdrawal. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is fairly good anxiety fighting skills. You do build up tolerance to it so it need to be taken just intermittently to remin effective.

FYI
Diphenhydramine, (over the counter) also known as Benadryl, is an antihistamine and as such is not only used for allergies/colds but also as a sleep aide. It does have a mild anxiolytic effect. May lower blood pressure and cause irregular heartbeats. Long-term use of Benadryl often affects mental cognition, especially in the elderly. Your body does build up tolerance to it after a few weeks. There is evidence of dependence in cases of long-term heavy uses, It is a histamine H(1)R antagonist in the brain. Do not take this medicine with any other medicine that can cause sleepiness including benzos, most blood pressure medicines, ssri/snri, buspar and others. Please check for compatibility before using. This medicine has many drug interactions.

HTSP,
I used Alprazolam during withdrawal - it was the only thing that helped! I had the "freezing" anxiety where I was unable to function.
I never had anxiety in my life until withdrawal - it lasted about 1 1/2 yrs, but then I am probably much older than you
I still have some remaining gifts from that nasty poison

Is it like my body is always sensing cold and that's giving me anxiety. Is there nothing that can be done/taken to lower this sense so I can move with my life?
I eat healthy, I do excersise 3x a week. I just started to take omega 3 and vitamine c but these cold feelings are giving me the creeps. I do take 1 alprozolam 0,25mg a day but that's not heating me up.
Please help me out guys

I'm determened to stop till the end because I find that the doctors have subscribed me
antidepressants way to long... it's time to change NOW because it's not making me better.

HTSP - Yea 2 mg/day should be enough especially if potent enough to make you sleepy. Don't forget, manufacturers say 4 weeks max on the benzo and the risk of dependence escalates. I know you don't want benzo withdrawal later. I read soooo many research articles on chills but they always are studying infections.

I am sorry HTSP. I can't find any reason for the chills. I did read some forums where people claim they suffered from chills while taking Solian but the medical research doesn't support that. A lot of the withdrawal research reports chills as a withdrawal symptom and a few have reported it on this site but not many.
